Akron Symphony’s Annual Picnic Pops Kick Off June 23rd

Akron—The Akron Symphony Orchestra will present six free concerts throughout the greater Akron area, including stops in Green and Wadsworth, as part of its annual Picnic Pops series this summer. The outdoor concerts will run June 23rd through July 11th and sample some of the very best in American popular music, from the epic film scores of Star Wars and Indiana Jones to a tribute to the music of composer Irving Berlin.
