AKRON SYMPHONY CELEBRATES SEASON WITH HANDEL’S MESSIAH DECEMBER 5-7

Venues include churches in Akron, Wadsworth, and Bath

Akron—The Akron Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Hugh Ferguson Floyd, will present three performances of Handel’s Messiah on December 5, 6, and 7. The sanctuaries of three area churches will provide a fitting backdrop for the sacred masterpiece. The concerts will feature the Akron Symphony Chamber Choir and three noted soloists: soprano, Lara Troyer; tenor, Timothy Culver; and baritone, Brian Keith Johnson. Read more
