Route 8 South. Exit Buchtel Avenue/Carroll Street. Turn right onto Buchtel Avenue. Follow Buchtel Avenue until you reach The University of Akron’s EJ Thomas Hall and the various parking decks and lots located adjacent to the Hall.

From the West
(Montrose, Summit Mall, Medina, and West Cleveland)
I-77 South/I-76 East. Exit Wolf Ledges. Turn left onto Wolf Ledges and follow for about a half mile. Wolf Ledges goes underneath a bridge. Take the first street on your left, which is Wolf Ledges Parkway. Thomas Hall is located one block away. The various parking decks and lots are located adjacent to the The University of Akron’s EJ Thomas Hall.

From the East
(Youngstown)
I-76 West to Route 8 North. Exit Buchtel Avenue/Carroll Street. Turn left at the second light which is Buchtel Avenue. Follow Buchtel Avenue until you reach Thomas Hall and the various parking decks and lots located adjacent to the The University of Akron’s EJ Thomas Hall.

From the South
(Canton)

I-77 South to the downtown Route 59, (Martin Luther King Expressway), Exit 21C. Exit at Cascade & Market Street. Turn right at the first traffic signal onto Center Street. Turn left onto Bowery. Turn right at Main Street. The theatre is a half block ahead on the right.

From Youngstown, Kent and other points east
I-76 West to the Main/Broadway Exit 22A. Exit right on to Broadway. Turn left on Mill Street. Turn left on Main Street. The theatre is a block and a half ahead on the right.

From Canton
I-77 North to Exit 22A – Main/Broadway exit. Exit right onto Broadway. Turn left on Mill
Street. Turn left on Main Street. The theatre is a block and half ahead on the right.

From Route 8 or North 59
Exit at Perkins Street. Turn right on Perkins. Follow to Main Street and turn left. The theatre is three and a half blocks ahead on the right.

From Medina and other points west
I-77 South / I-76 East to Main/Broadway Exit 22A. Exit left on to Broadway. Turn left on Mill Street. Turn left on Main Street. The theatre is a block and a half ahead on the right.

Parking:
The Akron Civic Theatre, located at 182 South Main Street in the middle of downtown Akron, is centrally located and is surrounded by several parking decks and a surface lot. The decks include the (1) Summit County Parking Deck on High Street, the (2) O’Neil’s Parking Deck on State Street, the (3) Cascade Parking Facility off of Quaker Street.
