“Chamber music is the theme of the entire 2010/11 season of the Akron Youth Symphony. It is therefore fitting that AYS will present an entire concert featuring the accomplished young participants of the chamber music program. Come hear a brass quintet, a woodwind quartet, a string trio and string quartet perform music from Bach to Haydn to Schubert and more! I’ll be at the piano for Schubert’s monumental Trout Quintet. Please join us May 17 at 7pm in Guzzetta Recital Hall at the University of Akron School of Music. Admission is free and all are welcome!” – Levi Hammer, Music Director (AYS)
