EXCHANGE AND DELIVERY POLICY

Delivery
Ticket orders received through the Akron Symphony Online Ticket Store will be processed within 48 business hours. Confirmation of purchase will be sent via e-mail to the address provided by the purchaser. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery. Tickets will be mailed First Class via the United States Postal Service.

Exchanges
We know that sometimes life just… happens. So if you find that you are not able to attend a concert on your subscription package, please know that we will work with you to ensure that you don’t miss out. The ticket office is committed to getting you the maximum value out of your subscription. If something comes up and you are unable to attend, we recommend the following options:

1.) Share Your Tickets With A Friend
How better to show your love for the Akron Symphony than by giving your unused tickets to a friend? Help a friend and the ASO by sharing your unused tickets.

2.) Tax Credit
If you don’t know anyone who’d like to use your tickets, call the ticket office at 330-535-8131 and we’ll see that they go to someone who will enjoy the concert. By releasing your tickets, you will receive a tax credit for the value of your tickets for making a donation to a charitable organization. The tax credit letters will be mailed twice during the year in January and June.

3.) Pick Another Concert
If you know of a concert that you CAN make it to, just call the ticket office at 330-535-8131 and tell us that you need to make an exchange. You can exchange your ticket to any concert of equal or lesser value. No cash refunds will be made in the event your substituted concert has a lower ticket price.

To take advantage of these opportunities, call the Akron Symphony ticket office at 330-535-8131 by 4:00 p.m. on the Friday before the concert you wish to release.

You can call after business hours and leave a message (follow the menu to the ticket office) with your name, phone number, the concert you would like to release, and where to send your tax credit. Remember, if you call after 4:00 p.m. on the Friday before the concert, we will be unable to exchange your tickets for another concert.
