It’s Friday night in the big city and everyone who’s anyone is going to The Savoy. Bring your friends and enjoy a stompin’ good time as we create the atmosphere of one of New York’s hottest 1930s nightclubs at FANFARE 2013: Stompin’ At The Savoy!

FANFARE 2013: Stompin’ at The Savoy, is set for Friday, May 10, 2013 at the historic Greystone Hall in downtown Akron.

FANFARE is a one-of-a-kind gala and auction fundraiser that benefits the Greater Akron Musical Association and the Akron Symphony family. It’s an opportunity for Akron Symphony friends, supporters, patrons and leaders to come together to celebrate the end of a successful season of bringing quality music and innovative programming to our greater Akron community.

The FANFARE 2013 Committee is hard at work putting the final touches on FANFARE, one Akron’s premiere social events. The Honorary Chairs for FANFARE 2013 are Jim and Marguerite Pearson. FANFARE 2013 is chaired by Terri Nass Reader.

FANFARE 2013: Stompin’ at The Savoy takes place at Greystone Hall, located 103 S. High Street in Downtown Akron (map). This year’s event will fuse old world sophistication with modern flair. It will feature a nightclub atmosphere and include comedic and musical entertainment, an open bar for oral auction attendees, a unique strolling dinner, oral and silent auctions and some fun surprises!
